About the Founder

Evolve CPA was founded by Lisa Sykes, CPA, a tax professional with extensive experience serving individuals, closely held businesses, and real estate focused clients. Lisa’s background includes over 20 years working in accounting and tax profession, supporting complex client groups across individual, business, and fiduciary tax matters.

Her work is informed by deep technical expertise as well as practical understanding of how tax considerations intersect with real-world business decisions and life transitions. Lisa is known for her clear communication style, thoughtful approach, and ability to help clients navigate complexity without unnecessary friction. Her favorite thing about this work is the relationships that are steadily built over time.

Lisa is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Taxation. She maintains ongoing professional education to stay current with tax law and professional standards.
